The UN has completed all preparations for the upcoming Syria peace talks slated to be held in Geneva Friday under the chairmanship of UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan De Mistura.
De Mistura will meet with the Syrian opposition delegation and the government's delegation separately.
In a related context, Swiss and UN security bodies have taken all measures to secure the arrival and departure of the delegations participating in the talks.
Hundreds of journalists are expected to flock into the avenue for the talks to cover that important event.
For its part, Al Arabiya channel quoted some Syrian opposition sources as saying that De Mistura's message is "positive" and encourages them to start a new round of talks.
Also, the massage indicates that the issue of allowing the entry of humanitarian aid and stopping the bombardment of residential districts are non-negotiable, the sources added.
