UN secretary general meets Jordanian FM

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh Friday discussed the developments in the region including Palestinian cause, situation in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Libya.

The UN secretary general praised the efforts being made by Jordan to bolster the security and stability in the Middle East. The two officials underlined the importance of attaching greater importance to youth and empowering them to invest their potential in achieving development and progress in their countries and communities. They also stressed the need to find alternatives to prevent the youth from being recruited by terrorist organizations.
