The United Nations special adviser on Yemen Jamal Bin Omar arrived in Sana'a on Tuesday on a several-day visit to Yemen. Bin Omar told Saba that during the visit he will help Yemeni parties in preparing for the national dialogue conference and will follow up the implementation of the Security Council resolutions on the political settlement in Yemen under the GCC-brokered initiative. He pointed out that the Security Council is closely following the developments in Yemen and is keen to ensure the success of the Yemeni experience for the peaceful transition of power ,noting that the Council warned in its resolution No. 2051 those who want to disrupt the political settlement that it is ready to take further decisions if the obstruction continued. Bin Omar expressed his hope that there will be cooperation among all political parties for the success of the tasks ahead for the transitional period, including the national dialogue conference in the near time.
