UNRWA concerned over unavailability to access food aid to Yarmouk Refugee Camp

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has expressed its concerns over a month old imposed blocked that prevented entry to its team in the Northern Entrance Area of the Yarmouk Refugee Camp in Syria to provide food and medical assistance to the affected population. The UN relief agency in a statement confirmed that the team was unable to distribute food to the besieged refugees in the camp due to blocked, urging all parties to complete the negotiations as soon as possible and allow full access for humanitarian aid to the civilian populations in the Yarmouk Refugee Camp.
