The Syrian opposition Local Coordination Committees (LCC) said Wednesday that they were able, in cooperation with the Center for Documentation of Violations in Syria, to document the killing of 1,621 young boys and girls by regime forces since the start of the revolution in mid-March, 2011. The LCC said in a statement that new estimates now established that 120 children were killed on the ground, while 33 of them were killed during torture in various regime security centers, reported the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA. The statement added all children fatalities were witnessed in Homs, Hama, Idlib, Deraa, suburb of Damascus, Aleppo, and Deir Al-Zour
