US ambassador in Islamabad meets Pakistani interior minister

US Ambassador in Islamabad Cameron Munter met here today with Pakistani Interior Minister Malak Abdurrahman. Talks during the meeting dealt with matters of mutual concern including the confidential memorandum''s issue. The Pakistani Interior Minister called on the US Ambassador to take strong steps against Mansoor Ijaz, the US businessman of Pakistani origin who raised the issue of the confidential memorandum and caused relations between the two countries to deteriorate. The meeting, which was held at the home of the Pakistani Interior Minister in the Pakistani capital, was not attended any other official from the two sides.(QNA) OM
