
A delegation of the US Congress left here on Sunday winding up a two-day visit to Egypt where they held talks President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
Republican Rodney Procter Frelinghuysen, chairman of the appropriations at Congress, led the 13-member delegation's visit to Egypt.
The delegation asserted that Egypt is a base for stability in the Middle East as it enjoys vast potentials that should be utilized.
They reiterated they would back Egypt at the Congress and extend all possible military contribution to Egypt in its war against terrorism whether in Sinai or to secure its western borders.
