At least three suspected militants were killed in Pakistan Saturday when their vehicle was hit by a rocket fired by U.S. drone, security officials said. The attack occurred in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan Agency near the Afghan border, Khaama Press reported. Officials said three persons in the vehicle died instantly. It was the first drone strike inside Pakistan since protests erupted over an anti-Islam video produced in the United States and posted online. Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar is currently in Washington to discuss a range of issues, including the drone strikes, which Pakistan considers violations of its sovereignty.
