The US has unshakable commitment to Israeli security, the White House has said, adding that the level of defence cooperation between the two would continue. "We have an unshakable commitment to Israel's security," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters, ahead of the Monday's meeting between US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "It's a commitment that's demonstrated by the unprecedented level of military-to-military and intelligence-to-intelligence service cooperation that we've established with Israel, a fact that has been testified to not just by Obama administration officials but by Israeli government officials, including the Prime Minister and the Defence Minister," Carney said. "That level of cooperation will continue. We are absolutely committed to Israel's security," he said in response to a question that would US defend Israel if it is attacked by Iran.
