
U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan met on Friday with Bahraini's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, currently on a visit to the United States.
During the meeting, the Bahraini minister praised ties between the two countries, pointing to the mutual keenness on enhancing strategic ties and pushing them forward at all levels.
The minister hailed the U.S. role in consolidating international peace and security and their keenness on cooperation and consultation with regional countries so as to achieve stability, peace and development for all peoples of the region.
For his part, the U.S. speaker reiterated the importance of exchanging views and consultation on all issues that might take bilateral cooperation to higher levels and promote regional peace and security for the benefit of all countries and peoples of the region.
