US-led coalition airstrikes 2 Daesh bridges between Syria, Iraq

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Friday said that the US-led coalition destroyed two key bridges used by Daesh to move from Syria to Iraq and vice versa.

The coalition destroyed two bridges between the Syrian and Iraqi borders, said Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Abdel Rahman added that these two bridges were extremely important for Daesh as they were used by the terrorist group for movement between Syria and Iraq.

The coalition airstrikes are expected to make Daesh's movement harder and lengthy, the observatory said.

The coalition began its air campaign on Daesh positions in Syria in September, after the jihadists' spectacular advances on both sides of the border.
