US, main culprit in global terrorism, Jalili

Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili here on Monday said the US is the main culprit in global terrorism. Referring to the recent US accusations against Iran, he told reporters that the US administration possesses a terrorist record. Terming the ongoing protest of 99 percent of American people against the US policies as the country’s main problem, Jalili said the crisis has been spread throughout the US and voices of strong protest are heard from various states. Today, Washington is faced with a serious crisis, he added. The US officials are trying to deceive world people and introduce a chain of unreal and baseless threats to the world public along with making use of military suppression, Jalili said. Today, the anti-US struggle has been turned into an axis of solidarity in the region and among Muslim nations, he said, adding that an example of which was witnessed during the two important international seminars held recently in Tehran on Islamic awakening and support for the Palestinian Intifada.
