A Pakistani lawmaker said on Thursday that the US administration should apologize to Iran for violating Iranian airspace by sending advanced stealth reconnaissance aircraft. Talking to IRNA, Senator and Chairman of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq said that there is no justification of such act and Iran has taken a right decision to bring down the American spy drone. He acknowledged the remarks of Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani that United States must be held accountable for venturing to fly spy drone over Iranian territory. Larijani said that the Americans must give explanations for sending stealth reconnaissance aircraft over Iranian territory rather than ask the return of the drone. Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq said that sanctity of borders must be respected and no country has a right to intrude the border of other country. “Law of the jungle cannot prevail,” he pointed out. The lawmaker was of the view that US must render apology to Iran instead of asking the return of the spy aircraft. Iran has lodged a complaint with the United Nations Secretary-General Bank Ki-moon against the United States for sending stealth aircraft over Iranian territory and said that it will take the US to the International Court of Justice. Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq said that Iran is entitled to protest against the American move at all international forums. “US must respect the sovereignty of Iran,” said the legislator. “Downing of advanced stealth aircraft shows Iran’s strength,” the politician said. He said that whole world is amazed over the technological advancement of Iran and the way they brought down the American spy drone when the US waged electronic warfare against the Islamic Republic of Iran. “Despite sanctions Iran is progressing in all fields,” Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq added. The Senator said that Iran has become an example for the whole Muslim world and the other Muslim countries should follow the model of Iranian nation in terms of making breakthrough in science and technology.
