
Visiting US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns said on Saturday the world is following with admiration and consideration the transition process in Tunisia which managed to iron out difficulties and reach a wide consensus on the new Constitution. During a meeting with Tunisia's meeting with Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki, Burns conveyed to President Marzouki and all Tunisians the congratulations of the American administration and people on the adoption of the Tunisian Constitution, the Tunisian Presidency said in a press release.Marzouki and Burns discussed at their talks bilateral relations and means to boost them, especially in the economic field, according to the release.During his stay here, the US official is expected to meet new Tunisian prime minister Mehdi Jomaa.
