
President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have received letters from the US President Barack Obama, related to bilateral relations between the two countries. Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, received the two letters during a meeting with Michael H. Corbin, Ambassador of the United States of America to the United Arab Emirates, in his office in the ministry. The U.S. President praised the existing bilateral relations between the UAE and the United States, expressing his interest and saying that he looked forward to enhancing them in various fields. He congratulated the UAE for winning its bid to host the EXPO 2020 in Dubai, noting the Emirates' leadership in education, innovation and business. In his message to Sheikh Khalifa, the US President touched on current regional developments. Source: WAM
