US President receives Qatari ambassador credentials

US President Barack Obama has received the credentials of HE Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mutib Al Rumaihi as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the United States.  During the credentials presentation ceremony that took place at the White Hose last night, HE the Qatari Ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the greetings of HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the US President, government and People.  In return, President Obama entrusted HE the Qatari Diplomat with his greetings to HH the Emir, HH the Heir Apparent and the Qatari people and government.  He also wished the Qatari Ambassador success in his mission to promote and support the close ties existing between the State of Qatar and the United States.
