The United States refused to announce a time-line for the resumption of Palestinian-Israeli peace talks, after Secretary of State John Kerry and Jordanian Foreign Minister Naser Judeh held a press conference in Amman on Wednesday. “We are not going to put a time-line on any sort of announcement. Clearly, the goal is to get both parties to a place where we can resume those negotiations. But I would not want to put a time-line on that,” State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf told reporters. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Amman Tuesday, for meetings with Arab diplomats about the peace process, Syria, and Egypt.
