The spokeswoman of the US State Department Victoria Nuland has confirmed her country’s commitment to support the dialogue and the political process in Yemen. “The national dialogue based on the principles of transparency and the involving of all parties and reforms is an important step for the Yemeni political transition”, Nuland said. The US official urged all parties to engage in a constructive process to shape the future of Yemen. She noted that in the light of the request of the Yemeni government the US has decided to provide $ 10.5 million to support the dialogue conference, pointing out that this amount is a fraction of the total aid provided by the US to support the continuous efforts to achieve security, peace ,prosperity and stability in Yemen.
