The United States and its allies carried out 31 air strikes against Daesh militants in Syria and Iraq in the past 24 hours, a US military statement said Saturday.
Eight air raids were launched in Syria during the same period, including five near Hasaka city, said the statement.
The attack included 23 other air raids on Iraqi sites, destroying two depots for explosive materials and weapons, as well as combat outposts and tactical units used by Daesh militants.
Daesh terrorist group, with members from several Western countries, controls large swathes of Iraq and Syria, and has been carrying out horrific acts of violence.
