US Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Clinton, arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa last night on a visit pertaining to economic aspects. Secretary Mrs. Clinton begins her visit today by meeting former South African President, Mr. Nelson Mandela, in Konno Township in the southeast of the country. Secretary Mrs. Clinton's visit to South Africa is expected to continue until Thursday during which she is expected to shuttle between Johannesburg, Cape Town and Pretoria and meeting with senior officials as part of the strategic dialogue between the United States of America and South Africa. She is also expected to meet with a high-level businessmen's delegation from Johannesburg. The United States of America is the second commercial partner of South Africa next to China and the third overseas direct investor next to Britain and the Netherlands.(IY)
