A Nevada judge agreed to reopen the robbery and kidnapping case against former football star O.J. Simpson. Clark County District Court Judge Linda Marie Bell ruled Friday that Simpson could present evidence supporting his appeal at a later date. Simpson was sent to prison for 33 years in 2007 after he was convicted of taking part in the robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room. Simpson, 65, appealed the conviction earlier this year on the grounds he was not properly advised by his attorney, who also allegedly had business and financial dealings that posed a potential conflict of interest. Simpson insisted he was only trying to retrieve memorabilia that belonged to him and had been stolen after his 1995 acquittal on murder charges in the death of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and Ronald Goldman in Los Angeles, KABC-TV in Los Angeles said.
