Vietnam's new Prime Minister sworn in

Vietnam's National Assembly on Thursday elected Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc as the new prime minister.
Phuc, 62, replaced Nguyen Tan Dung, who officially stepped down on Wednesday after serving two terms.
He received more than 90 percent of the votes from the legislature to head the cabinet from now to 2020.
After being sworn in, Phuc took an oath pledging allegiance to the nation, the people and the Constitution, according to Vietnamese online newspaper (Thanh Nien).
He said the new post was an honor but also a heavy task for him, and promised to do his best to drive the country to prosperity and civilization.
In a subsequent speech, Phuc said he and the new government will prioritize the improvement of business climate, anti-corruption and the protection of territorial sovereignty.
New members of his cabinet are expected to be selected in the upcoming sessions.
