Violence broke out in the Egyptian capital of Cairo following an Egyptian court's final verdict on the Port Said incidents of February 2012 earlier in the day. The court confirmed death sentences for 21 people for their role in the 2012 riot which resulted in the death of 74 people after a game in the city of Port Said in February 2012. Fans of the Al-Ahly Club set on fire a police club and Egypt's Football Federation after the Port Said Court acquitted seven police officers on Saturday. Two police officers were sentenced to 15 years in prison while five people were sentenced to life in prison in the Port Said case.
