A wildfire raging in the Valencia region of eastern Spain has forced the evacuation of about 270 people, the daily Levante said Monday on its website.Residents were evacuated from several municipalities. Officials said they included the residents of a retirement home in the village of Barx.Six helicopters and three aircraft were combating the flames, which Levante attributed to firecrackers ignited by youngsters. No injuries were reported.In a separate incident, 57 people were evacuated from a hotel in Lloret de Mar near the eastern city of Gerona, where a fire broke out in the washing room, dpa reported.Firefighters said the blaze in the five-storey hotel did not cause injuries.
