Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said the anti-Islamic film, "Innocence of Muslims", and the publication of caricatures which ridiculed Prophet Muhammad in the French magazine, Charlie Hebdo, is an insult to Muslims and should be condemned by leaders worldwide. He said the film and caricatures had upset the feelings of Muslims, according to Malaysian (Bernama) News Agency. "Charlie Hebdo might not have breached French law in publishing the caricatures, but we question his ethical judgement," he said. Najib said the production of the film had created further provocation at a time when tensions were already running high. He urged Muslims to remain peaceful and not resort to violence as a means of showing dissatisfaction. "Now, more than ever, we should work together for greater respect, tolerance and understanding so we may live in peace and harmony. "This is why, here in Malaysia, we have invited people of all faiths to join us in forming a Global Movement of the Moderates," he added.
