
Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Sunday with Iranian Ambassador to Yemen ,Mahmoud Ali Zadeh, to bid farewell on the occasion of ending his tenure in Yemen. At the meeting, al-Qirbi confirmed the keenness of Yemen on its relations with Iran within the framework of the common interests and respect for the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of States and to maintain the security and stability of the countries in the region. For his part, the Iranian ambassador confirmed his country’s keenness to push forward the bilateral relations between the two countries based out of the cooperation and mutual respect, expressing hope in the success of the national dialogue in Yemen.
