Yemein communications minister meets Russian ambassador

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Ahmed Bin Daghr met on Sunday with the Russian ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Petrovich. In the meeting, both sides discussed aspects of cooperation in the field of communication and information technology and how to benefit from Russia's expertise in these fields. Bin Daghr praised Russia's support to Yemen, stressing that the Yemeni government and people highly appreciate Russian attitudes toward Yemen. For his part, the Russian ambassador affirmed that his country would support Yemeni in various economic and development fields. He further renewed his country’s support for the success of the National Dialogue Conference in Yemen, hoping that Yemen would overcome all hardships of the transitional stage according to the GCC-mediated initiative and its implementation mechanism.
