The quartet common talks among Yemen, the USA, Oman and Saudi Arabia were concluded on Thursday in Washington. During the three-day talks, the four countries' delegations discussed ways to develop security cooperation in the field of border and coast security of Yemen. The participants in the talks further reviewed the U.S. experience in creating a border security system, units and troops deployment, equipment provision, mechanisms of monitoring, interception and arrest and means to ease joint operations with allied and friendly troops. They also exchanged views, opinions and successful experiences in the protection of borders and territorial waters. The talks held in the Coast Guard headquarters in Washington were organized by NESA Institute and sponsored directly by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and the National Defense University.
