Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Saturday the non-resident Ambassador of Austria to Yemen Gregor Koessler and his accompanying delegation. In the meeting , they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. The meeting touched upon the efforts being made by the security authorities in Yemen to free the abducted Austrian from the grip of kidnappers and to ensure his release safely. Al-Qirbi affirmed in the meeting that the security services and Yemeni authorities will spare no effort to work on releasing all abductees and ensure their safety. For his part, the ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation of the Austrian government for the efforts made by the Yemeni government to release the Austrian citizen.
