Minister of Planning and International Cooperation on Wednesday said that the government has launched the implementation of a bold package of economic and political reforms. Mohammed al-Sa'adi affirmed the government's commitment to fulfill the obligations laid down in the document of Mutual Accountability Framework (MAF) approved in Riyadh donor conference. Al-Sa'adi made the statements during an enlarged meeting held in Sana'a at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation between the government and representatives of donor countries and regional and international organizations. It was dedicated to review the achievement level in the harmonization of the investment program and the State's public budgets with the development plans and programs. The Minister, who chaired the meeting, said that the success in carrying out the political reforms would be reflected positively in the economic situation in Yemen, hailing the aid granted by the donor community to Yemen to continue the implementation of the country's programs and policies aiming to achieve the reforms. He praised the commitment of many donor countries and organizations fulfilled their financing pledges to Yemen. Al-Sa'adi pointed to the necessity to complete the allocation of the rest of the funding by the donors to enable the government to implement the Transitional Program for Stabilization and Development (TPSD) 2012 - 2014.
