Yemeni interior minister meets with US deputy ambassador to Yemen

Minister of Interior Dr. Abdul Qader Qahtan on Wednesday met with U.S. deputy ambassador to Yemen, Karen Sasharh. During the meeting, they discussed relations of cooperation and security coordination between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, especially with regard to the fight against terrorism and organized crime. Qahtan praised the strong bilateral relations between Yemen, the United States of America, in all areas, including the area of security , valuing the support provided by the U.S. government to Yemen. For her part, the U.S. deputy ambassador confirmed the continued support of her country’s government for Yemen in all fields, particularly the security field to achieve more security successes, praising the successes achieved by the national dialogue conference.
