
Legal Affairs Minister Mohammed al-Mekhlafi discussed here on Tuesday with the UN Secretary General envoy to Yemen Jamal Binomar the results and recommendations of the first phase of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC). The two officials reviewed the draft law of transitional justice and national reconciliation, which would be implemented in the coming days by the ministry according to the national dialogue's recommendations. The meeting also dealt with the significance of removing all difficulties impeding the political process and undermining the transitional period legitimacy based on the Gulf initiative. Binomar urged all parties to provide insights and perceptions to the national dialogue conference in order to success the second phase of the conference. He also stressed the importance to take all measures by the government, including the ratification of agreements that prevent the recurrence of human rights' violations.
