Yemeni president appreciates efforts of countries sponsoring Gulf initiative

President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi has said that the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) has saved Yemen from many stalemates and its conclusion would be a significant historical event in Yemen's history. During his meeting here on Saturday with the ambassadors of the countries sponsoring the Gulf initiative implementation, Mansour Hadi highly valued the great efforts and support made by these countries to help Yemen carry out the political settlement based on the Gulf initiative and the UN Security Council's resolutions 2014 and 2051 , Yemen News Agency (Saba) reported. The dialogue conference has safeguard Yemen from a lot of crises through different political, cultural and social forces set on the dialogue table throughout a period of 9 months, Hadi said. For their parts, the ambassadors hailed the President's efforts and his wise leadership of Yemen in this difficult phase, stressing the international community's support for Yemen and the President's efforts in carrying out the transition Yemen would experience through and after the national dialogue. During the meeting, the President and the ambassadors reviewed the arrangements for concluding the NDC and the latest developments in the national arena.
