Yemeni president pardons stadium bomber prisoner

Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi has pardoned a prisoner from the southern opposition accused of attempting to bomb a sports stadium in the Yemeni city of Aden, during the Arab Gulf Cup. Judicial sources told Arab Today that the Yemeni president ordered to release Fares el-Dalei, imprisoned in 2010, in the central prison of Mansoura. Activists in Yemen’s southern opposition intensified their demands to release Dalei during recent months, considering him a "political activist." They stressed that he has no relation with the bombing accusations.
