
Yemeni President Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi received Thursday a phone call from British Minister for Middle East Affairs Tobias Ellwood.
He met also with Norwegian Foreign Minister Bruges Prendh and his accompanying delegation.
Hadi discussed with the British minister the latest developments in Yemen and the peace efforts based on the resolution of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) number 2216, the Gulf initiative and the national dialogue, according to the Yemeni governmental news agency.
Meanwhile, he also probed with the Norwegian foreign minister the bilateral relations.
Hadi stressed the importance of the support offered by the European Union to Yemen to achieve peace and development in the country after it was destroyed by the rebels.
He further underlined the need to attain peace aspired by the Yemenis which will promote security and stability at the local, regional and international levels in cooperation with the international community.
For his part, the Norwegian minister expressed his country's support to legitimacy.
