Yemeni Security Committee prevents movement of motorcycles in the capital

The Higher Security Committee has approved preventing the movement of motorcycles carrying armed men in the capital Sana’a as of November 28,2013. This came during its meeting on Wednesday evening, in which it discussed the recent incidents represented in exploiting the motorcycles by subversive and terrorist elements to carry out criminal and cowardly acts that targeted many innocent people, from military and security personnel, public figures, national cadres ,citizens and foreigners. The Higher Security Committee approved at its meeting the following: Firstly: preventing the movement of motorcycles carrying armed men in the capital Sana’a as of today November 28 ,2013, and carrying out extensive inspection campaigns during this period. Secondly :Preventing the movement of motorcycles permanently in the capital during the period from December 1 to 15, 2013. The Committee called on all citizens to cooperate with the military and security services for the public interest and to support the efforts made by these agencies to enhance the security situation and provide the appropriate climate for the completion of the national entitlements during this phase . The Security Committee confirmed that it will take all deterrent legal measures against violators and bring them to justice.
