Yemeni security forces liberate abducted Dutch citizen

An abducted Dutch citizen was liberated in Al-Harad district of Hajja governorate in northwestern Yemen, the ministry of interior announced on Sunday. In a statement, the ministry said that security bodies were able to liberate the unnamed Dutch citizen who has been abducted by an armed tribal group a week ago in Al-Waqeaa district between Hajja and Hudaida in northwestern the country. Following his liberation, the Dutch citizen, who was in a good health, was transported to the Yemeni capital, the statement noted.
