8 Afghan soldiers killed in separate bombings

At least eight Afghan soldiers were killed in separate bomb blasts over the past 48 hours, dpa cited the Defence Ministry in Kabul as saying Tuesday.
Spokesman Zahir Azimi said only that the blasts were in different parts of the country, without giving further details.
The casualties come as Afghan security forces take full responsibility for security with the end of NATO's 13-year combat mission, which formally finished on the weekend.
