Afghan security launch military operation in Nangarhar

Afghan security forces are set to undertake a large-scale military operation in the eastern province of Nangarhar, the province spokesman said Saturday.
The operation aims to counter "Spring" imminent attack by the gunmen, the spokesman added.
The large-scale operation comes amid fears that Taliban gunmen would mount attacks after the failure of the Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG) to hold Afghanistan-Taliban negotiations.
