
At least one person was killed and four others wounded in an explosion in Chehelsatoon area of Afghan capital city Kabul on Tuesday, said officials.
A senior official of Interior Ministry, Humayun Ghani told the local media that the explosion targeted a car of National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives.
A person was killed and four others critically wounded in the attack, he added. The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment.
According to the media reports, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed the responsibility of the attack, saying heavy casualties has been inflicted on security personnel.
The blast came at a time when Taliban rebels have increased their attacks on security forces following the withdrawal of NATO/ISAF forces from Afghanistan
