Conte: “Thoughts already on Cesena”

Antonio Conte conveyed his joy after reaching another important target set at the beginning of the season. The 4-0 win over Roma put Juve three points clear of fellow title contenders Milan and confirmed the club’s participation in next year’s Champions League. A beaming Conte said: “We played a great game, with the approach possessed by great teams.  The team played with a manner and authority that deserved the victory.  It’s tough for anyone to play against a Juve side on this kind of form. It was an important victory and we’ve taken a little step towards a dream that we’re all chasing together. We’ll now start to think about Cesena, a game in which we’ll have everything to lose. But for now we’ll enjoy the fact we’ve managed to directly qualify for the Champions League, our first target of the season.”
