Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has warned that the season is far from over ahead of his side's return to training for the second half of the season. The record German champions have a nine-point cushion over Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga at the midway stage of the campaign, but Heynckes says his side must not rest on their laurels in 2013. They threw away an eight-point advantage over Borussia Dortmund a year ago to end the season empty-handed for the second year in a row and that should be enough of a warning to his players. "We are heading in the right direction, but we have got to carry on this way consistently," he told the club's official website. "The Bundesliga title is the priority which we are aiming for with all of our strength." Bayern have not won a trophy since 2010 and will look to end a three-year wait for silverware in May, and the Bundesliga is currently providing their most likely source of glory. They host Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal and face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League, but Heynckes is keeping his focus on the league. "What happens in the Champions League and the DFB-Pokal, we will just take it as it comes," he said. From : Fifa
