Nedved: Del Piero is the history of Juventus

The former Bianconeri star has voices his admiration of the iconic attacker, and added that the forward has worked hard down the years to become a symbol of the club.Former Czech Republic international Pavel Nedved has taken the time to praise Alessandro Del Piero, describing the veteran attacker as a key figure in Juventus' history.The 37-year-old found the net in his 700th official appearance for the Old Lady as he fired them to a 2-1 Serie A win over Lazio on Wednesday, and Nedved admits that he is struggling to find the superlatives to emphasise Del Piero's importance to Juventus."It's difficult to find words to describe Del Piero. He has been playing for Juve for about 20 years ? he is the history of this club," Nedved was quoted as saying by uefa.com."When anybody in the world says the word 'Juve', they have a picture of Del Piero in mind. I think that says it all."It was great to play alongside him. He is a great champion. He has always trained hard and extremely seriously, otherwise he would never have achieved so much despite his great talent. As I said, he is the history of Juventus."Del Piero has netted two goals in 19 Serie A appearances this term
