Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah said he knows his 3-pointer try in a game against Orlando was ill-advised -- he was just trying to get free food for the fans. Noah said his failed 3-pointer attempt with 3.8 seconds left on the clock of Tuesday's 99-93 win over the Magic at Chicago's United Center was an attempt to win free Big Macs from the crowd as part of a promotion, with McDonald's offering the sandwiches to fans when the team breaks 100 points, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Thursday. "You have to respect the game because you never know what can happen in a game,'' he said. "I just got caught up in the moment and I was trying to get the people a Big Mac. They really wanted a Big Mac and I felt like, not only did I take the shot and miss the shot, we didn't even get the Big Mac. Next time, I won't take that 3-pointer.'' Coach Tom Thibodeau said he had a talk with Noah after the game. "I talked to him about it, but I'm going to keep that private," Thibodeau said.
