
One person died and 21 others were injured on Sunday when vehicles collided on a road in northeastern Mafraq Governorate, according to the Civil Defense Department (CDD).
The CDD said rescue teams rushed to the scene in the Um- Al-Jmal area in the Northern Badia and administered first aid to the injured, before transferring them, along with the one fatality, to the Mafraq Government Hospital.
Those injured were listed in moderate condition.
The CDD also reported that 13 people were injured in an accident involving two vehicles on the road to al-Bayt University. After being treated at the scene, the injured were transferred to the Mafraq Government Hospital.
