1 killed, 13 injured in car accident in Minya

A young man was killed and 13 others were injured when a light truck with a number of workers on board overturned at the entrance of the fees gate of Minya governorate, Head of the Egyptian Ambulance Organization Ahmed el Ansari said on Tuesday.
The wounded, who were moved to Minya General Hospital for treatment, sustained fractures and bruises, he added.
About eight ambulances were sent to the scene ten minutes after the accident, he asserted.
Al Ansari appealed to citizens not to use light trucks as a means of transportation as they lack safety.
