On person was killed earlier Sunday while number of injured rose to 22 as clashes between armed groups in northern Lebanon faded away with the fall of the night, security reports said. Clashes between the armed factions in the area between Bab Al-Tabana and Jabal Mohsen neighborhoods in Triopoli killed one gunman and wounded 22 others including two Lebanese servicemen, the report were cited by official media here said. Intensity of clashes faded away with sporadic gun fire and mortar shell attacks, amidst deployment of army forces in the area, they added. The Lebanese army troops were retaliating at the source of fire from the two areas. Spordaic clashes take place between supporters of the Syrian regime in Jabal Mohsen and opponents in Bab Al-Tabana causing fatalities and injuries.
