
Baghdad Operations Command announced on Saturday the killing of ten terrorists and the arrest of a number of wanted men on charges of terrorism in addition to dismantling explosive devices in different parts of the capital.
The command said in a press statement today that a force of the regiment commandos of Baghdad Operations Command arrested two prisoners escaped from Badush jail north of Baghdad, and dismantled an explosive device in one of the cemeteries in the area of Tarmiya .
The statement added that a force of the first regiment - Fifth Brigade of federal police, managed to lift three hand grenades in a house in the neighborhood of doctors, in addition to finding quantities of high explosive material / C4 / set to detonate near the Russian energy and was dismantled without accident.
The statement continued that ten terrorists were killed in the area of Umm Al-tanki south of Baghdad, freeing a kidnapped in Mahmudiyah, and the arrest of two of the hijackers in the Jkuk area.
The leadership added that they arrested a number of wanted men, according to terrorism cases and seized a number of weapons and materials, in different parts of Baghdad.
