Three civilians were killed and eight injured in the city of Kadugli, capital of South Kordofan state in Sudan, in an artillery shelling by Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) rebels.Deputy Governor of South Kordofan state Ahmed said in remarks to Sudanese ‘Ash-Shurouq’ satellite channel this evening that the SPLA’s ninth division bombed the eastern area of , killing three civilians and wounding eight others.He described today’s bombing as ” message against peace and rapprochement between Khartoum and Juba,” stressing the Sudanese army’s ability to protect civilians against all threats.
