As many as 1,140 Egyptians in France have cast their votes in the second phase of their country's parliamentary elections, said Ambassador Ehab Badawy Monday.
Of all votes, only 33 were invalid, Badawy told MENA correspondent in Paris.
He thanked members of the electoral committee at the Egyptian Embassy in Paris and the general consulate in Marseille for their efforts to conduct the polls.
Badawy was also thankful to the High Election Commission (HEC) in Egypt for providing technical and logistical assistance to render the overseas vote successful.
